Exclusive to Abbott Racing, our range of polyurethane bushes are a substitute for the standard rubber items.

Advances in recent years have released a range of polymers that outperform rubber in every respect, offering much better performance and life than rubber. Soon all suspension systems will be supported in this way. Customers are invariably delighted with the improvement in steering precision and feel that these bushes allow. These bushes deliver a 30% reduction in torque steer and also improve roadholding as the front wheels are more securely located to the chassis.

The standard support arm rear bushing is very soft and compliant on earlier model 900's. This leads to inaccurate steering, premature tyre wear and in some cases, wheel balance and vibration problems.

Our sleeved roller bearing kit eliminates the compliance in this bushing and makes the steering sharp and accurate. Braking, traction and roadholding are also improved thanks to the more positive location of the suspension arms.
