Hi,
I just wanted to write and say thank you for (a) fantastic service, (b) outstanding customer support and honest advice. Right from my initial phone call I was impressed, nothing was too much trouble, even the hand drawn map from Chris to enable me to go shopping whilst I waited for my precious Saab to be tweaked and madeover!
Even down to the little things like having the front badge replaced that I didn't request, but you did it anyway!
I certainly won't be taking the car anywhere else, despite the 250 mile round trip! The wheels and tyres are fab by the way guys!

I just wanted to let you know how pleased I am with the ECU remap, I really enjoyed the drive home yesterday, you said I would notice a big difference!
It has made driving so much more relaxed, there is always power on tap and overtaking is now so much easier, just put your foot down!

I bought my 2001 SAAB 9-3 2.0t (150bhp) in September 2006, the car had low mileage and was in 100% original state. The main use of the SAAB is to drive between my home and work. This amounts to roughly 300-400 km motorway driving every week. I am starting to get acquainted with my SAAB, and I really enjoy driving the car. For me the T7 engine is the most enjoyable characteristic of the 9-3, I love the power and refinement of this engine. The leather seats give great support for the body on long distance driving, and it is a very safe car. Many people have commented on the 9-3's handling.
I have been mostly concerned with the less than satisfying steering response. The car has had a tendency to go where IT wants to go when doing max acceleration or heavy breaking at high speeds. After reading about Abbott Racing Motorsport's Steering Rack Clamp & Brace on several SAAB forums, I ordered a kit last week. I installed it yesterday, and did some final adjustments today. I have tested my SAAB with the Abbott kit the whole day, and it has really transformed the handling. Before the steering had a rubbery-feel to it, but now the steering is compact and precise, and the car goes where I want it to go. I have not yet decided if I want to do any more modifications to the car, but I am convinced that the Abbott Steering Rack Clamp & Brace is the first thing to get if one wants to improve the handling of the 9-3. Highly recommended!
Abbott's tech support is also excellent in every way!

The drive home from your workshop was one big grin all the way! the power delivery is fantastic from the remapped ECU and intercooler that you provided for me and feels as though it will go on for as long as i dare use it! i can safely say that the cars performance far exceeds my ability!
the quality of service that i have received from yourselves has been second to none, from my very 1st contact with you and the level of patience that you demonstrated throughout our conversations has been excellent. Always responsive and professional, whilst giving an honest opinion against what i wanted to achieve.

I would like all of you to know that I am a very happy Abbott Racing user in Tokyo, Japan since 1993. I am now driving my second Abbott tuned Saab 9000, a 1993 Aero with automatic transmission (better for Tokyo traffic).
My car has the racing intercooler, big-valve cylinder head, Trionic upgrade, delivery pipe kit, boost control valve, full stainless steel exhaust system, complete Abbott suspension, and all bushes and mounts, and I am just before installing front strut brace, and rear anti-roll bar upgrade, as well as the carbon induction kit.
I can testify to the long-term reliability of all Abbott items (since 1993) since they have never caused me any problem, and they seem to be made to last the entire life-time of the car itself (and more).
These parts have made the car tremendously entertaining to drive, and it is incredibly quick and agile both inside and outside of town.
The most interesting thing of the Abbott Racing magic is that the car is so enjoyable even after all these years, that I really do not feel like changing it for any different new car. I recently drove the 2007 Alfa Romeo Spider and 2007 BMW 850 Cabriolet, but still I was just happy to return to my Abbott Racing upgraded Saab 9000 Aero.

I am writing this mail to say a big thank you.
I was very impressed with my visit to Abbott Racing. The setup you have there, and the relaxed attitude is the best I have ever experienced, at any garage. The service was simply outstanding. So easy going, I felt very comfortable while my car was having its up-grade. I was particularly impressed by your software technician and mechanic fitting my hardware; they both had time to explain everything to me. I wish I had you on my door step. I would not have a second thought, returning to you for my entire servicing requirements. (If I was just, an hour closer!)
In fact one of your customers had travelled from London, is a testimony to your very good service. I enjoyed my meeting with him and we spent the whole time chatting about our cars. Before I knew it my car was finished. Thank you also for finding my transmission leak. And the loose bolts you found on my cars was shocking this is being sorted to day. But I am now concerned about my local dealers skills and practices, after being at Abbott’s. The comparisons are like night and day. This is a major issue now with Saab and their main dealers. Independent specialists I strongly believe, give the absolute best service possible. I have no doubt about that. I will be staying well away form Vauxhall/Saab dealers form now on. They treat you like sheep. And this is reflected on the care taken towards our cars, as I have found out.
The car now performs, looks, and sounds much better than expected. I know the Aero is apparently maxed out, in stock form. but the acceleration form 30 mph is simply awesome. The best way to try and explain this performance increase is, now my brakes struggled to cope, with spirited driving. This can only be put this down to much increased power gains. Corners are coming up much quicker. The braking required to slow down is much more apparent than before the upgrades. I will definately need to address this soon.
Ed also kindly allowed me to try his 95 with Abbott springs. I was very surprised to find the ride was noticeably better. Much more firm round corners and I personally could not tell any loss in ride comfort ether, another required upgrade.
I now have a very fast Saab. I love the fact that my Saab is to now be respected. In fact on the way home I sat comfortably behind an Audi S6. Over taking slower lorries was a match for match. At no point did he pull away. I know the A6 is a much more powerful car, but their drivers, have a major play how the car performs. A carefully planned manoeuvre saw me pass him, speeds never reached excessive. And mid range acceleration was amazing. The one thing I particularly wanted. Speeds above ridiculous, do not interest me. But the car will now pull for ever if required. I have all this performance with practical daily driving. I am more than happy with the product, care and skill you provided. I would not hesitate to recommend you to other Saab owners who wish to upgrade their cars. I wear my Abbott Racing badge with much pride. To be associated with Abbots Racing is the best car upgrade I have ever experienced.

Good Morning,Just a quick note to complement you on your excellent customer service. After speaking to Ed on Friday I removed the ECU from my car on Monday morning and put it in the post to you. The modified unit was back by 12 noon on Wednesday and in the car by 5pm!. Apart from the speed of turn around which was excellent the re-map has made a huge difference to the car and it now a much more enjoyable drive. At 6pm last night the ECU was in, the roof was down and it was off to the beach, if only you could fix the whine from the passenger seat telling me to 'slow down, slow down!' then I would be really grateful. You may recall the above work that you recently carried out on my Viggen. This followed on from the 'rescue kit' that was fitted a couple of years ago. This evening I've enjoyed a great drive across the Peak District in a much improved car. The 'rescue kit' made the car better but the latest upgrade has taken things much further. The spring/damper/rear roll bar upgrade has improved the handling and balance significantly, however, the biggest improvement is with the limited slip diff. Under hard acceleration in 2nd and 3rd it goes in a straight line, no torque steer, brilliant!

Fitted my 9K 3" Aero system last night and it is Superb!!. The fit really is fantastic, I would actually go as far as to say better than the origional Saab one as the main thing for me is that now, the CAT doesnt sit under the sump cooking the engine!.
I had no real problems, and I am so glad i bought a set of stubby open ended spanners for the Turbo joint!!.
Transforms the cars power delivery and works wonders with my Stage 3 ECU..
So, thanks Giles, in my opinion well worth the wait. I have seen a few JT 3" systems on 9000's and they do not come close to either the fit or the quality of yours.

Just a quick note to say thanks for the work done to my 9-5 Aero. I've done about 1000 miles in the month since the car was worked on and I am so impressed with the transformation that has taken place. It was always a quick, comfortable car which wallowed a bit. Now it is extremely quick, still just as comfortable, goes round bends properly, sounds lovely and looks awesome. The Bilstein dampers and ARM springs should be fitted as standard to any Aero in my opinion (although this would do you out of business, so I won't tell SAAB). The car stays flatter through bends, there is much less understeer and I can put the nose of the car almost exactly where I want it, adjusting my line at will. What is truly amazing though, is that the ride has not suffered. I actually think it is better than standard. Yes you are aware that there is a little less travel in the suspension, it is an inch shorter after all, but it is so much better controlled. I used to hit a bump and then spend 30 yards boinging down the road waiting for the floaty suspension to settle! Now you hit a bump, it is absorbed nicely and then damped down almost immediately and the car is composed again ready for the next challenge our roads throw at us. The Beta tuning kit plus downpipe, cat and twin pipe conversion have given me all the power I want. Acceleration is smooth and unrelenting right through the rev range, low down grunt is particularly impressive. The exhaust looks and sounds lovely. A deep burble on tickover and a nice sporty note when you give it some gas but still refined when driving normally and not much louder than the standard setup. Those 4" tailpipes on each side of the car look fantastic, I'm glad I went with your recommendation.

I wish there were more people and companies with the same ethic. I've been to dealers and so called specialists in the past and they all turn out to be unhelpful know-nothings. It seems as an enthusiastic amateur I know more than my local Saab dealer. Thank god for the team at ARM. You are helping me turn a usuable classic into an Impreza beating street sleeper that can quite easily fit the contents of a small nation in the generous loadspace. Thanks again, my next project car was going to be a Nissan 200sx but now I think it will have to be a 9-5 estate. Keep up the excellent work and thankyou again.

I was recommended Abbotts by a friend who had been there before and so took my Saab 95 to the other end of the country to get some performance upgrades. The staff were brilliant and took time to explain what was wrong with my engine and put a new turbo, dump valve and large exhaust system on it. The car was remarkably better. A couple of months later I went back to get an engine refresh, intercooler big intake pipe, induction kit and delivery pipe. Again, the difference in performance was like driving a new car. I would highly recommend Abbotts for any Saab related repairs or upgrades as nobody in my experience has the knowledge or skills to carry out such a great service.

I have just bought a Saab 900 turbo 1994 L reg with 199,600 miles on the clock. At first i was impressed with the performance but not so much the handling! After a quick search on the Internet i came across A.R.M. It caught my eye as the site is nice and clear and very easy to extract the info i required. After drooling over the many parts i would love to purchase I decided the old purse strings were a little tight so i ordered a set of 1" 20% uprated lowering springs. Two days later they arrived at my work and that night they were fit......WOW! What a difference they made to the car. I forgot to mention, this car has had a new engine, so as i said the power was there, but the springs after 200k were a bit soft and the car pitched a bit! Now i have the confidence that the car can handle the standard power and more besides! It feels so nice to drive now, and not such a boat. So impressed with the product and service i loosened the purse springs and ordered a Cat back exhaust system. As before two days later it arrived and i could not wait until 5pm to fit it after work. Once again, it was exactly as described on the web site (if not better) The fit and finish is superb and the sound is just like it said, just a slight burble at idle and a very slight increase in noise when throttling! One last thing is the response seems quicker when accelerating. I am now saving up my pennies for the sports cat, ECU upgrade,inter-cooler and more... I have been in the motor trade for 17 years now, and am the Service Manager of three franchises (unfortunately not Saab) and have been playing around with all sorts of cars as a hobby since i could drive, from old VW`s, Ford`s to Modern Jap cars. In this time i have dealt with many aftermarket companies and have NEVER come across such a professional, helpful and price wise reasonable company as A.R.M. I have not sent this in for any extra discount, but because as in life people are very quick to complain, but not as quick to praise! I would advise anyone who is wishing to uprate the Saab they own to contact this company, as they will be very pleased with the service and product they receive.

The amazing A.R. concorde-service was here at 10 o'clock. We bolted the dampers in the car, and went for a test drive with another customer. Result: he was so impressed that he ordered a set immediately. The ride is more comfortable than standard but also more sporty when needed.

Dear All,
I had my 1998 9-5 at your workshop last Friday to have your Alpha ECU Upgrade installed. I would just like to say that one week and 500 miles later, the grin is still on my face! I arrived slightly early than my allocated slot, but you started working on the car straight away. I was impressed with how thoroughly you check everything out first, making sure that the upgrade's effectiveness won't be impaired by any underlying problems the car may already be suffering from. During the actual download to my ECU, I was given a tour of your workshops, and was fortunate enough to see your test rig with the slightly tweaked (to 400bhp) 9-5 engine on there - awesome. Following the installation, another test drive ensued, after which your mechanic diagnosed a dirty air flow meter. He duly cleaned it out, tried the car again, and all was in order. I thought it was going to get expensive, but no, it was all part of the service. I was given several tips and pointers re. tuning these engines - as well as looking after them generally - which - when adhered to - should ensure the next 125,000 miles will be as smooth as the first! As far as value for money goes, I don't think you can be beaten by any other UK supplier at the moment. As well as this, the service & thoroughness you demonstrated was excellent. Once again, many thanks, as I look forward to seeing you again soon for the next round of upgrades.

Hi,
Thanks guys for fitting the ECU upgrade, Sports backbox and air filter on my 9-3 SS Aero. You have made the car feel completely different to how it was, it's now a proper Saab. Simply amazing. Response is so much better in all gears, watching a Boxster trying to keep up has been quite amusing. It sounds fantastic, I was stopped by another aero owner who demanded to know what I had done to the car (he's coming your way!), he was so impressed.
The turbo spools up quicker, driving around town is so much better now. On the motorway I don't have to change down to 4th, the car just simply rocks. Even though it's been a day I'm now addicted to your products, expect to see me again very soon.
Don't suppose you can do anything with my E46 CSL? On second thoughts I prefer the saab, know anyone who wants a BMW? I owe all you guys a beer or two.

Hi Ed, and everyone else at Abbott Racing, especially Neil the mechanic who fitted my spoiler to my 9-5 aero saloon today.
I just wanted to say thanks for the professional job done. I was very impressed with the car that was taken of my pride and joy, even though it did invlove drilling holes in it (i had to look away at that point). The spoiler looks great, lends the car a more sporting stance but still discreet.
I will definetly be back for a 'proper' upgrade soon.

In November 2005 I started looking for a classic 900 T16s to use for my daily (spirited) commute from the Derbyshire Dales to Sheffield. I had owned a T16S around 10 years ago and had good memories of it's fun handling and acceleration. At the time I was coming out of a company car scheme, and was used to running a modern, reasonably fast car (last one was an Audi A4 2.5tdi quattro sport), I also had some concerns about the ability of a 15 year old classic to live up to my expectations. I first met at Abbott Racing and described what I was after. He had a couple of 900's in stock and we worked up a large number of changes and revisions to bring the standard T16s up to a better standard of braking, acceleration and handling - whilst not losing the original character. Along the way we also managed to agree on great paint job. The car was in black, and originally had dreadful faded grey slabs of plastic running along the side. These were painted smoked black along with airflow font and rear bumpers, and make the car look fantastic. Far better than the original. I also converted the velor seats to charcol black leather. It was at this point I learnt of 's strange obsession with sniffing leather...be warned. The exact spec is still on the AR website, under the Classic 900 project. In short we changed and added a lot, but it has been worth it. At the end of the day I have always been able to rely on to offer sensible advice, even when I wanted to take things a little too far! I have nothing but praise for the people at Abbott Racing, particularly . Ed - whatever you are paying it cannot be enough! The customer service I have received has been second to none. I have driven all sorts of cars and experienced dealer service from many brands....Porsche, Audi and BMW. As far as I am concerned AR beats them all. We have had a few teething problems along the way. The car was delivered in February, and we have seen each other a few times in the months after this! In fact my wife was beginning to suspect that I was having an affair as the number of evening meetings on the M1 to swop cars increased. Meeting on Valentines night was clearly a high point for all concerned! The modifications to the 900 have transformed the car completely. The power, the noise and handling rival pretty much all the cars I have owned. Nothing comes close when you consider the overall costs v the fun factor. AR have done an brilliant job overall and I recommend them to anyone. Great garages like this are a rarity and I would trust them with any work in the future. I plan to use them again and again. If anyone has any questions or queries on the work I have had done, I am happy for AR to give my email address. Hopefully this feedback is a little more use than than supplied by happy Americans who have bought the HID upgrade and eulogise without even having seen the blinking things fitted and working!

You asked for some feedback on the Beta Stage ECU and 3" Stainless Steel Abbott Exhaust with Sports Catalyst.
The car is extremely driveable with no harshness or lumps in the power delivery. Measured BHP from Dastek puts it at 269BHP, although one run did produce 271BHP, which puts it bang on you claim for the Beta upgrade.
The torque is another matter entirely. Peak torque is up from the standard 350nm to an extremely healthy 450nm, with the effect of rapid and smooth acceleration.
Summary
Very happy with the upgrades and the way the car drives. Good mapping software providing nice power curve for everyday use, without sacrificing fuel consumption. Service, delivery, packaging, quality of product excellent.

Many thanks for the speedy supply of my braided clutch pipe, which we fitted with remarkable results on Saturday. I fitted a 500Nm SACHS clutch assy. about 18 months ago, it came with a health warning 'Fit A Braided Pipe Or Else' was the message. I tried to get one made with no success whatsoever, I could buy one from 'Speedparts' of Sweden, but only for LHD vehicles. Everyone who should know agreed it was necessary but was unable to help. Long distance trips especially those over the channel were becoming a bit of a nightmare, because I knew that one day the inevitable would happen. Step in Abbott Racing again. The pedal feels lighter, presume this is because my leg is only moving the clutch and not ballooning the pipe, and the clutch bites further up the pedal. A great product which I shall recommend to all.

I always go back to your website to see what’s going on, and boy have you guys been busy. Read the testimonial page too.
I just wanted to say that it’s one thing to build products that perform well, but it is completely different to build automotive performance products that last. That’s the real trick. For people reading these testimonials, while the pricing of your products don’t come cheap, mostly because of the exchange rate for those of us on the other side of the pond, man that hurts; anyone considering Abbott upgrades should take comfort in knowing that not one item that I bought in 2003 (up-rated turbo, shocks, exhaust system, delivery pipe, intake pike, ITG induction kit, lowering springs, ECU upgrade), has ever even hick-upped in 50,000 hard, fun driving miles across the North Eastern United States. I upgraded my brakes locally, figuring I’d go through them often with all this power. BRAVO Abbott! I’ve got 75k miles on my 2000 9-5 Wagon and it runs as strong as it did 3 years ago when I converted it to an “Abbott Aero”. Hitting that SPORT button on the shifter is way too much fun. You can really feel the trans grab the car and pull it, but at a lower RPM. The car feels like a rocket.
Looking forward to doing this all again in about a year.

I am more than happy to inform you that on my first drive, I left a new BMW 745 far away. the day after,a young boy in a Subaru Impresa Turbo WRX/STI that tried to impress his girl friend, didn't succeed the racing.

Just a quick note to thank the team down at Abbott Racing for their work on my newly acquired 9-5 Aero Estate. As you rightly stated, the 3" sports exhaust lends a sporting note to the otherwise mild mannered factory set-up but at no times is it ever intrusive when cruising. Under full throttle however it sounds great and from the outside, it certainly did not sound like a typical estate car when Pete 'trundled off' down the road on a brief road test! Visually it certainly looks the part too and certainly compliments the otherwise large and featureless rear end. The combination of exhaust and ECU re-map have now given the car a new sense of urgency and have turned what is already a very quick and extremely tractable car into a genuinely fast vehicle capable of chasing the tails of most real-world performance cars. I no longer mourn the loss of my previous modified Mini Cooper S and such is the acceleration, our West Highland White Terrier is now in serious need of some velcro boots! Aside from the upgrade, Pete was also responsible for immediately diagnosing a potentially very serious fault with the braking system; a split vacuum hose was the root cause of the initial loss of pedal feel when backing offfull throttle. However, more worryingly this 'Approved Used Car' had only left the SAAB dealership 2 days hence. Needless to say I am now in discussion with their Sales Manager to resolve this fundamental and inexcusable oversight. The attention to detail continued with Pete even attending to a squeaking clutch pedal. Needless to say I left immensely impressed with the level of enthusiasm and attention to detail displayed by all and enjoyed speaking to Mr Ed Abbott and learning about Abbott Racing's history.

Hello ! Many thanks for everything you, and everyone else does over at Abbott Racing. All of you put amazing products out of your shop, both good performance and good quality.
So far the products i have from your shop are the following:

Abbott racing ECU / wastegate acuator Abbott racing polyurethane gearbox mount

All of the things above mixed upon all of the parts i have from other tuners really makes for an awesome Aero. You are by far the best saab tuner i have run into and i will continue to do most (if not all) of my shopping with you. The LSD has made an un-imaginable difference in the driveability of my car. At the 300HP mark if i went to a track or raced someone from a stop, getting traction was a joke. Now with my LSD i am beating many more cars and run a way faster 1/4 mile time because i dont waste away precious time burning out. The driving is flawless and the LSD creats no unwelcomed side effects. You dont even know its there. I emailed you a couple of months back and said i would send a couple pictures, so here are four new ones. Thanks again for everything you do and you can expect an order from me for a full 3" exhaust, intake, induction, springs, front strut brace, and shocks in a months time.

I have just had the Viggen Rescue Kit fitted to my 9-3 SE HOT 1998 car and had the rear Anti-Roll bar instead of the front steel sub frame brace as part of the package. As I do not try to emulate a racing driver when driving nor have their experience to highlight handling problems, I was dubious that the chassis package would provide a noticeable difference to the car. My wife drives a MX5 which has very precise handling and the 9-3 was always very soggy compared to the Mazda. I was therefore astonished how these simple changes could make such a difference to the handling. The car now handles like the MX5 and actually goes around a corner when I want to, rather than 1 second later. Chris at Motorvation in Tonbridge who fitted the parts was also very impressed with their quality and the effect that they had on the car. Thanks for all your hard work in sorting my car out and popping up and down the M25 and M4 to pick and drop my car off to me. As you know, I wanted a decent upgrade and between us, we agreed on the ECU upgrade, bigger intake pipe, the better intercooler, the larger injectors, the carbon fibre airfilter box and new filter, bigger turbo pipe, the 3 inch race cat downpipe, 3 inch centre section and fabricate the split box at the back to give two rear entries,with the rear plastic valance insert being machined to take the two boxes, along with the black mesh inserts for the fogs lights, grill e.t.c. and as a good measure, spray the chrome grill in body colours bar the main bar across. We also went for the 6 pot AP beauties and disks and hubs and went for the sexy red calipers......Nice!!!!! You`ve measured the bhp at 320bhp and I must say, although we had a few teething problems as mine was the first of the new 9-5`s to be done with the big upgrade, I was pleased with Abbott`s attention to detail, your weird sense of humour, joking and the attention to detail. As you know when I first got it back, it was too powerful and you had to downgrade it to the current 320bhp, as the standard management system couldn`t cope with the mega upgrade, but since the system has been remapped and a few other tweeks, I am now very happy with the way my little baby goes!!! I liked the fact that you didn`t want to just sell me things, but advised what to have to get the best out of it and still have driveability and reliability and all I can say, is you found the sweet spot between a normal pootle around car with the family in but then the beast within that I like to unleash when I am on my own. The car has fantastic midrange pick up, it`s smooth, punchy and with the new exhaust system, it really sounds the part, not intrusive on the motorways as you mentioned, but very rorty when the car is given its` head, which is a lot less than the missus does to me!!! The brakes, well, what can I say, you mentioned the 4 pots would be sufficient, but I wanted the 6 pots and they stop the car on a sixpence, even from 100mph plus allegedly officer!! The 450 lb torque really comes into its` own and I agree that horsepower is just the top end really, but 450lb torque is phenominal and pulls hard low down and just keeps on going like a steam train, but from the 3-4000 rpm`s for overtaking, it makes things easy to overtake and safer and just keeps pushing you back in the chair till the limiter again kicks in alegedly officer. When I first got the car back, I went out on the Sunday morning at 4amwith the roads around here totally empty and tried my favourite roads out, lots of lovely tight bends, short blips and a few lovely straights in between, also with it being cold in the morning, the charge into the car was more dense and you could really feel the difference in a big way and no brake fade as I had been experiencing with the standard 9-5 brakes. My circiut as I call it, is a 7 mile round trip round the lanes for 5 miles of it and then 2 stretches of dual carriageways. I was only going out for one run, but ended up not coming home till 7.45am once a few cars started appearing, the engine tinging and the that nice brake smell, a man as one with his machine, bliss!! Nice to see that you have my car on your gallery now and if anyone wishes to know more from an actual driver who`s had the upgrade done, please feel free to give them my numbers, so they can hear it from a satisfied client and not as they might feel, a sales pitch from the guys at Abbott, I know it`s not, but they can be assured by me the upgrades will be the best thing they ever choose to do with their 9-5. Take car and will hopefully be back this year for the headwork, bigger valves and the pistons being machined down to give a lower compression, hence we can then play around with the management system and get the turbo even further upgraded with the revised fin styling to give better spin up and cooling for the intake charge.D N

Hi Guys, Just had to write a thread about the transformation that my car has had.I went down to Abbott Racing yesterday and had a full stainless exhaust with race cat fitted, SAAB road holding kit fitted and a custom ecu remap and boy what a difference the car feels so alive the throttle response is instant no waiting for power its there when you want it.The car just keeps accelerating man its brilliant.I read all your threads about the massive improvement a remap makes but never expected anything like this its absolutely amazing.If any of you out there are considering a remap STOP considering now and go get it done you will not be dissapointed.I'd just like to thank FINN for his help in getting my car sorted and keeping me company all day and of course AbottRacing who did an amazing job with my car and are a really professional bunch of guys.Next its gotta be 17" wheels i think any for sale out there?? and better brakes of course. Im off out shopping later and taking the wife i dont think she has any idea what kind of journey she's in for.

I had to send just a quick message to say thanks for the Viggen, second-hand alloys, you supplied me with, ages ago. They look great in Titanium silver but alas I had to have one repaired due to the fact my 'Wife' kerbed one - it wasn't me honest.....! I would also like to mention that the idea of the 'Gallery' is superb and it's my every day routine to check for updates! I personally prefer the Black 9000 Aero! Totally unique and stunning too!

I really enjoyed the drive home, the car feels totally sorted, its the best job that you have done on it. The power delivery is awsome and the mid range 40-70 mph time must be comparabe to almost anything on the road. Didn't have much of a chance to test the top end, but it felt all there, reccomend your boltie for a pay rise, he's done a top job!! I exited a roundabout in 3rd gear and floored it, I thought the clutch was slipping, but it was wheelspin....... IN 3RD GEAR fantastic, but it is crying out for that diff (new year).S G

Re 1996 manual 9000 2.3 Aero 168,000mls-Sorry if this is addressed incorrectly but I just wanted to thank you for your assistance. I had purchased I suspension package from another supplier which included struts and springs. My local saab specialist fitted these, only for me to find that when filling the car with a full tank of and two children the rear wheels started to rub on the tops of the wheel arches when progressing over bumpy roads. Basically making the car unusable for any normal tasks! I contacted them, and I was informed that an Aero needed a different spring kit. I received them, and they were taken to the garage and before fitting measured against the faulty supplied ones. To our disbelief these were some 30mm shorter and could be of no use at all. They had nothing else to offer me which seemed very odd. I turned to yourselves, and I have to say, was a little embarrassed after having read the comments that you make regarding the fitment of springs other than your own. The spring arrived next day, and after fitting happily coped with four children and there junk. They were really tried out when I had to collect three twenty stone adults and there baggage from standstead airport and a two and half hour drive to Bristol. I cannot recommend your product strongly enough, it has transformed the car from a somewhat wallowy/scary experience, especially in fast corners, to a sheer delight to drive. If anyone was to read my comments, Please do not try to save a few pounds and purchase from somewhere else, the problems you will encounter are just not worth it. Many Thanks for your help and great product- I wish I could afford to do many more of the upgrades you offer!

Hi , The car its awesome, good job. The power is Grrrrrreat the noise is just what id expected "Beautiful", especially the turbo whoosh when it kicks in :)). The wheels are superb and the brakes are spectacular to say the least. Although the road handling was good before its excellent now you've changed the suspension, I can throw it much more confidently into corners and it dont waiver at all. Therefor i would like to thank you and all the mechanics that worked on my car i am very pleased with the package and service i recieved from you. thank you :)

I have always loved my Saab. I am 'that guy' next door that waxes it every day and services it every month. I'd just like to blow a HUGGEEE Mwwwwahhh to all at Abbott Racing for a level of professionalism that has left me struggling for words. I decided to buy, or should I say sold the idea to me, a new Exhaust (which I needed) and ECU upgrade. Everything was explained to me simply and patiently by the entire Team and I felt like I was their only customer. As I reside near the Highlands in Scotland I was expecting the usual delivery delays. Not Abbot Racing! My Parcels where delivered the next day before 12, perfectly wrapped and even sent via Air mail at an amazingly cheap rate! So was it worth my money? Folks, I'm sorry but if I'd paid twice the price I'd still be totally delighted. The exhaust was manufactured to perfection and quite frankly it should have been a standard Saab item. Perfect looks and glorious sound. I have to keep stopping myself from starting the car to hear the low, subtle rumble on idle. Midrange the sound is perfect and with a heavy right foot it's enough to leave you limping out the Car once your journey has ended. I find myself trying to drive through confined narrow lanes with the window open to get the true sound, it's that subtle. It's really difficult to explain the improvement! I found it sounded tinny and weak before and now it sounds throaty yet reserved. So, following a lengthy call to he sold me the idea of an ECU upgrade. He explained it all so fascinatingly well that you start to wonder if it is you that should be wearing the Saab 'Anorak.' Joke, ! He explained the benefits and to be honest I took it all with a pinch of salt and thought he was selling for the Company. He was genuine and honest and never once did I feel uneasy (l, honesty for you eh..). 40 Bhp + was on the cards so I felt I had to give him a try. Ohhhhhhh my godddd the guy was right! If it is 'only' 40 Bhp then I'll be gobsmacked, the car rockets through the gears and I urge any Eco owner to speak to these guy's YOU WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED! It feels like a second Turbo has been bolted on to cover the 4 - 6 rev range! The Rev counter is no longer necessary because the needle nearly flies over the red! Financially it's the best few hundred pound I ever spent with a huge grin factor every time I enter the car and at last I can't wait until I see a BMW boy racer!CG

Just wanted to say thanks for fixing the problem yesterday but more importantly the new springs and dampers are amazing. Ride is actually better than before - after my past experience of Koni shocks and Eibach springs I was expecting a fairly harsh ride, but its amazing, great ride and corners/roundabouts are now fun! Had to try a few slip roads off the M25 just to make sure!

Not only are the wheels good, they are GREAT. Especially with the springs on. It corners like it has never cornered before.
1) There is no wheel spin, unless provoked heavily.
2) Corners 50km/h corners at 80k/h in the pouring raining
3) Will further evaluate long distance driving this weekend, 200km trip. ( will let U know for sure about the comfort levels).
4) I am Currently using the P-Zero Rosso's. 225/40/18 N4. The tyres are supposed to be Porsche spec
4a) Checked out Kahn website seems that the rims I have on are identical to the Porsche ones.
5) Overall excellent combination.

Thanks for the service done on my car a couple of weeks ago. Receiving the car back with every relevant point foam lubed and the rear seatbelts fastened left me with the feeling I expected.. i.e. that no stone was left unturned. Further more the Abbott wishbone and roll bar bushes that were fitted to the car at the same time have certainly improved the dynamics of my 9000 Aero and my enjoyment of the car. Corning is more precise, the car is easier to set into a turn. Long fast motor way bends are where I really appreciate the difference.. before the car felt OK but (slightly disconcertingly) vague.. now I can carve my line precisely. My confidence in my car is enhanced and long urgent drives are now more enjoyable and relaxing.

To my delight I received my exhaust just as you said I would yesterday. Not being able to wait, my Saab mechanic friend fitted my exhaust before work this morning in the early hours! I had the most fantastic drive to work. Even though I had to have the hood up, the exhaust made the sound I was after and what you promised. When I first heard it I was a little shocked how quiet it was. But when idle, just a slightly deeper note, is just what I was after, and when putting my foot down harder, it gave a much more aggressive note than the standard exhaust, which just made the car sound tinny.
I am very pleased with the exhaust, and all the help I received from yourself and members of Abbott Racing. Please feel free to use these comments on your website, as I am a fussy bugger, and hard to please, but you have!
